UTM Prihatin Crowd Map  ini dibangunkan oleh Kolej Tuanku Canselor, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia bersama TropicalMap Research Group daripada Fakulti Geoinformasi dan Harta Tanah Universiti Teknologi Malaysia untuk mengumpul maklumat lokasi semasa krisis banjir dan juga maklumat lokasi berkaitan operasi pasca banjir merangkumi pusat pengumpulan bantuan, lokasi pergerakan sukarelawan  dan kawasan yang memerlukan bantuan sempena krisis banjir yang melanda pantai timur Semenanjung Malaysia melalui  orang awam dan juga warga UTM

Maklumat ini mungkin boleh membantu membekalkan pihak bertanggungjawab  untuk urusan pengurusan semasa dan selepas bencana berdasarkan data geospatial berasaskan lokasi yang anda bekalkan serta cadangan bantuan yang anda berikan.
